Yrvädersgatan 14 is a group home located in the scenic Lindö. The residence caters to users with autism and other disabilities. With us, the individual is always at the center.

Your Responsibilities

As a support educator with us, you play a central role in developing both the operation and your colleagues.

In your daily work, you are present with the users and work together with support assistants and caregivers to provide individually tailored support based on the implementation plans.

You motivate and support the users and create good conditions for participation and independence. The role also includes service tasks such as personal care and support in leisure activities.

The role also involves responsibility for developing, implementing, and following up on working methods and routines. You contribute to the team's competence development through guidance and collaborate with relatives, guardians, and authorities to create a holistic view and cohesive support.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education as a support educator, occupational therapist, social worker, or other education that the employer considers relevant for the position.

You have experience working as a support educator and in care, as there is heavy care work involved in the unit.

You have knowledge of low-arousal responses and preferably knowledge of visual support as well as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). This way, you can create good conditions for our users to express their needs and be understood.

As a person, you are secure and humble. You find it easy to build relationships and collaborate with others.

You have a good ability to adapt your communication to the person you meet.

You are skilled at implementing changes and development work.

You are inclusive and coaching in your way of working, contributing to an environment where people uplift each other and share knowledge and experiences.

You can organize and prioritize your work effectively, while also being adaptable to changes that may occur during the day.

For this position, we see that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
